The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind has an ongoing need for rehabilitation instructors for 2 year contracts in various locations in New Zealand.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience and a recognised qualification in orientation and mobility or rehabilitation for blind and vision impaired people. The positions involve providing support to either adults or children in the following areas:

Orientation and Mobility – to enable blind and vision impaired people to travel independently and safely in their own environments and in the community.

Adaptive Daily Living – the provision of specialist training and support in the use of a range of communications and daily living techniques and equipment.
