We have two sponsorship programmes that you could support, or gift to a loved one for a special occasion.

With a monthly gift, you can help provide the much-needed funds that support the vital services we provide to New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision. 

  • Become a Red Puppy Sponsor to help breed and train little puppies so that they can become guide dogs, giving a blind person confidence, freedom and companionship.
  • Join our See the Difference programme so that you can support all of our services that help New Zealanders who are blind and have low vision, helping them to lead independent lives.

Who we are

The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) is New Zealand's main provider of sight loss habilitation and rehabilitation services to over 11,500 New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision.

We equip our members with the adaptive skills, technology and resources they need to overcome the barriers they face to participate fully in society and lead independent lives.

Our vision is to empower and support people who are blind or have low vision to ensure they have the same opportunities and choices as everyone else.
