The generosity of our major donors enables us to provide lasting work that changes the lives of blind and partially sighted New Zealanders every day. The services that we provide would not be possible without the major gifts donated by our incredible supporters each year.
Because only one third of our total income comes from government funding, we rely heavily on major gifts.
Our major donors are individuals, local businesses, services organisations and community groups who consistently donate on an on-going basis to fund our work.
These major gifts make it possible to breed and train guide dogs, add new talking books to our library, provide computers in our classrooms, provide trainers to teach blind and partially sighted students and all the other services that our members use on a daily basis.
