Hold a community event

Are you planning to do something exciting, extraordinary or just plain fun? Have you thought about using your event to raise vital funds and make a real difference?

Each year many individuals, groups and businesses hold or take part in events to raise money for New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision. These events provide us with vital funds that help us deliver a vast range of services.

How you can help

Whether you want to hold your own event or take part in a sports or social activity, it is a fun and fulfilling way to raise money for us!

Take part in a sports event

If you want to run, walk, swim, bike or even jump out of a plane, it is easy to raise money for the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB). All you need to do is visit our events page to create your own fundraising page, then ask friends and family to sponsor you!

Hold a social event

Whether it's a sausage sizzle at your local DIY store or a fancy black tie dinner, you could raise money for the RNZFB while having a great time!

Perhaps you are a local business that wants to run a race day or golf tournament to raise essential funds or an individual who wants to make a difference by organising a pub quiz.
