Sunglasses with both UV & IR Protection

The sunglasses we sell are manufactured by NoIR Medical Technologies who specialise in offering ultraviolet and infrared protection in their sunglasses. They produce more than 50 different colour lenses which are available in several different styles. These styles include small, medium and large fit-overs plus the more modern styled SpectraShield and Wrap-Around sunglass series. The fit-over style (excluding the SpectraShield fit-over range) is a protective unisex eyeshield that is fully tinted; it does not have a separate frame with fitted lenses. It offers filter protection across and above the eye area as well as down the side of the face. It is designed to be worn over your own prescription glasses or on its own. NoIR Medical Technologies recommend different lenses for different eye conditions e.g Achromatopsia: the standard colours are dark, medium and light red. Night Blindness: yellow lenses. Diabetic Retinopathy: plum, dark grey, grey green and medium amber. Individual needs may vary. The percents symbol (%) represensts the amount of visible light transmitted through each lens. Equipment Services keeps a selection of the available glasses but are able to get in the style and preferable colour lens should it not be listed.
