The Foundation's submission supported the overall direction of the draft strategy, highlighted evidence of a link between functional impairment and depression, and offered comments on wording that might better demonstrate that the finalised strategy is inclusive of people with a sensory impairment. A "wellbeing" rather than than a strictly health-focused approach to the strategy is commended.
