Auckland static display
A static equipment display is now in the Auckland RNZFB office, 4 Maunsell Rd, Parnell, Auckland. Mon – Fri 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.
A selection of items from the following list are on display: giant print address book, lapel badges, liquid level indicator, easy slice knife, talking thermometer, oven gloves, bump ons, needle threader, slice on mat, tape measure, talking kitchen scales, talking personal scales, talking pedometer, large print calendars, envelope guide, black lined paper, writing frame, signature guide, volleyball, playing cards, Ludo, Tic Tac Toe, Shut the Box, Chess/Checker, Snakes and Ladders, large print bingo cards, talking clocks, tactile watches, low vision watches, and talking watches. Some of these items are available for purchase over the counter.
Static Equipment Displays are also in the Waikato, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin RNZFB offices; Buchanan's Amcal Pharmacy, Tikipunga Whangarei; the Disability Resource Centre, Royal Oak Auckland; and the Mosgiel Abilities Resource Centre, Mosgiel.
