Palmerston North walking group

There is an active walking group in Palmerston North that members might be interested in joining.

They meet every other Thursday at the RNZFB Palmerston North office and walk from there or take the mini-bus to outlying areas. Participants range from 35 years through to 90 years! The group has been going for over four years and has been involved with the Council and D.P.A. in the upgrading of several pedestrian crossings within the city. For more information please contact: Richard West and Lorraine Hutcheson in the Palmerston North office on Ph: (06) 350-2540.

Gabriel Trust

There is no Gabriel Trust Christmas concert this year. Instead the Trust has chosen to work with the Auckland Philharmonia and the Orpheus Choir (Wellington) and perform in two separate concerts.

Foundation members appearing as soloists are Ju-Hyeon Han in the Auckland concert and Lisette Wesseling and Renee Patete in the Wellington concert. Collections will be taken at the end of all performances with all donations going to the RNZFB.

Dates: Auckland 16, 17 18 December and Wellington 16 December.
