Page 19

In total we received 1875 responses from the Outlook survey - a response rate of around 11%. Of those, 1247 responses were from members, 402 were from donors, 72 were from volunteers and 154 were other/not specified. 491 of the 1875 no longer wish to receive Outlook.

Overwhelmingly respondents still wish to receive Outlook quarterly, they read almost all the stories in each issue, find the stories interesting and informative and find the story lengths "just right".

The top five topics that members would like to see covered in the magazine are: Hints/tips for daily living, information on RNZFB services, member profiles, information on equipment and products and regionally based stories.

For donors the top five topics they are interested in are; Member profiles, regionally based stories, information on RNZFB services, hints/tips for daily living and news briefs.

The majority of respondents want an A4-sized publication with 16-pt font (large print).

The Communications Department will work from the results of the survey to update and revise Outlook for the coming financial year - starting with the September issue.
