Blind Achievers' Awards

Hold onto your hats and dust off all your achievements over the past year - the 2002 Blind Achievers Awards is coming up!

The Blind Achiever's Awards offers members the opportunity to have their accomplishments recognised by their peers, the RNZFB and the nation.

This year's event, a charity auction dinner, will be hosted by the Governor General and held at Government House in Wellington.

A special guest speaker from overseas will be attending to present the awards to this year's recipients.

Categories for 2002 are;

Academic, Sport, Performing Arts, Arts, Literature, Business/ Employment, People's Choice.

Closing date: 20 October 2002

The Prize for winning a category is a tactile sculpture designed by Jo Nuttall and $750.
