One’s an artist…
One was hurled through a car windscreen…
And the other one cycled from Auckland to Oamaru.

So what have they got in common? Vision loss.

Now that you’ve noticed us……….come closer and ‘See The Difference You Make’

This year's media pack includes:

Mini profiles on our RNZFB members

Other inspirational people and Blind Week story angles

Foundation facts

Outlook magazine - Spring edition

Blind Week is on from 23-29 October and this year we’ve refreshed our campaign. For the past two years we’ve been asking you to ‘Notice Us’, but now it’s time to come closer and ‘See The Difference You Make’.

We have approximately 11,700 blind, deafblind and vision-impaired members who are better able to lead independent lives because of the essential services that we provide.

We need your help to raise over $1 million this Blind Week so that we can continue to provide essential services to our members.

You can make a difference by sharing our members’ inspirational stories with your audience so that they too can see the difference they make when they support Blind Week.

We can make your job easier by finding a compelling local angle and by providing high resolution photos if you need them.
