Foundation member on TV2's No Opportunity Wasted

This Sunday Foundation member Greg Dellow from Hamner Springs will be on TV2’s No Opportunity Wasted (NOW).

NOW is a concept created by New Zealander Phil Keoghan (host of Emmy Award winning the 'Amazing Race'). No Opportunity Wasted (NOW) is based on the philosophy of turning thought into action and living each day as if it were your last.

Greg (28) decided that he wanted to be part of the NOW experience and applied to be on the show. A month or so later Phil Keoghan surprised Greg by arriving at his door early one morning, telling him to pack his bag as it was time to go. While Greg cannot talk about his experience before it goes to air- he does say that it was amazing, he is glad he took up the opportunity and that he would do it again in an instant.

The Foundation supported Greg to achieve this goal he had set for himself by providing blindness awareness and sighted guide information to the NOW team and liaising with them as needed.

The programme is set to air this Sunday, (10 December), on TV2 at 6pm.
