The results of the election for Directors of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind were announced at the Annual General Meeting on Saturday 4 November in Christchurch.

A total of 2,009 members voted in the election. 1,850 used the voting papers, 36 used the braille voting cards and 92 voted via the Telephone Information Service (TIS). There were 17 invalid votes and 14 returned with no vote. (In 2005, a total of 2,063 votes were cast).
