Message from Paula Daye, RNZFB CEO
I wanted to provide an update on some important matters.
The Draft Strategic Plan has been adopted by the Board as a work in progress.
While the Board acknowledged the enormous amount of work that has gone into preparation of the plan, and has been pleased with the number and quality of submissions, it was felt that the new CEO should have an opportunity to provide input before final acceptance. The interim period will also provide an opportunity for further refinement of the draft plan.
The Business Plan for 2007/2008 is our priority right now and will be based on a set of "key drivers" arising out of our strategic planning day with the Board last year. We remain committed to ensuring that the Foundation honours its Vision and Mission as we continue to move forward.
In terms of my replacement, the Board has commissioned Sandra De Kock, an independent Human Resources consultant, to assist in finding a new CEO.
