Notice of Annual General Meeting 2008

Saturday 8 November 2008 at 10 am

The business of the meeting is to announce the results of the election of Directors, to appoint the Auditor and to consider the Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2008. 

Member participation

There will be opportunities for members to ask questions or to comment on the Foundation’s activities and the Board’s direction.

Members who do not wish to travel to Wellington for the AGM are also offered the opportunity to participate, in either of two ways:

1. If there is enough interest, we hope to convene meetings at the RNZFB offices in Hamilton, Tauranga, Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin that will run at the same time as the AGM and be linked to it. You will be able to listen to the meeting and ask any questions you may have.

 2. There are some opportunities for members to participate in the AGM by telephone. You will be able to listen to the meeting and ask any questions you may have. Telephone ‘slots’ are limited so you need to book in advance with the Foundation.

To assist with catering, if you are planning to attend the AGM or one of the associated linked meetings, or if you wish to participate by telephone, please contact our Member Liaison Officer, Gary Williamson, by Friday 31 October 2008. Also contact Gary if you intend to ask a question at the meeting that could be more fully answered with some background research.
