Recreation and peer support activities

The RNZFB has a number of staff that provide blind, deafblind and vision-impaired people with opportunities to participate in sport and recreation activities as well as special peer support activities for all ages.

Peer support is all about building confidence, challenging perceived barriers and people being there for each other, not just during the time they spend on an activity but also once they return to their day-to-day lives.
