Blind Week is on from 28 October to 3 November, and we need over 6000 volunteers from all over NZ to help.

We aim to raise over $1.1 million during Blind Week, and the more volunteer collectors we have, the better our chances!

Blind Week is about raising money to help us give blind, deafblind and vision-impaired members the skills to do everyday things, like getting from home to work, cooking dinner or surfing the net.

Even just one hour of collecting makes a huge difference.

You can sign up to volunteer online or call free on 0508 BLIND WEEK (0508 254 6395).

“The time I spent (collecting for the Blind Week appeal) was very enlightening and restored my faith in the generosity of the ordinary person. I was amazed at the number of donations and the smiles on people’s faces. If I am allowed to, I will be happy to do a collection next year. Thank you for the opportunity.”
