Vision and hearing impairment study

We have been approached by the University of Auckland Hearing and Tinnitus Clinic to ask for your participation in a survey studying the relationship between vision and hearing impairments. The RNZFB is supporting this study.

On the researcher's behalf, we invite you to complete the survey online.

  • It will take up to 30-45 minutes of your time.
  • You may participate whether you are or you are not visually or hearing impaired.
  • The review is anonymous, no personal questions will be requested that could identify you.
  • The survey questions can be completed by yourself or by a person you select to assist you.
  • Full instructions will be provided in the questionnaire.

The study has been approved by the University of Auckland Human Participants Ethics committee, reference number 2008/393.
