Calendar Girls to be audio described at The Civic

Congratulations to Paul Brown of Auckland, the winner of the double pass to Calendar Girls.

A very British story, with a very British heart, Calendar Girls is based on an inspiring true story that is quirky, poignant and hilarious. A group of extraordinary women spark a global phenomenon by persuading one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference!

Introductory notes are read prior to the performance, these include a description of set, props, costumes and characters.

Touch Tours are also held before each audio described performance where patrons are able to walk through the set, touch set pieces, feel the costume textures and handle key props. Touch Tours are available on a strictly limited basis, and offered on a first booked, first served basis to patrons.
