The Library's catalogue is searchable online. This is a "live" database of the books in the RNZFB Library collections:
- Talking books and braille books for adults.
- Children's material in audio, braille, large print, collage, twin vision and kitsets (held at Homai Library).
- Some electronic text.
- The print reference collection for staff use.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Teachers who are searching for accessible formats may need to check search results with the Library. Many items produced for students and works in production are not listed in the catalogue. Email: homailibrary.
- Only registered users may borrow from the RNZFB Library. For copyright and funding reasons, the Library is not able to serve members of the public.
Searching the catalogue
A simple search (for example, author's surname, part of a title, or a subject)can be entered into the search box on the main page of the catalogue. The drop-down boxes on the Advanced Search page let you limit your search by format, reading level, collection, and subject. Advanced Search also allows you to limit by Subject Interest Code (SIC).
Each page includes a link to Help pages and a link to let members contact the Library with book requests or queries.
Search results
Search results will be delivered in a numbered list. Select an individual record to view further information about a title, including the format details. Some records have multiple formats.
