Information for the aged care and health sectors
Are you involved in caring for people who are blind, partially sighted or deafblind?
Optometrists, nurses, ophthalmologists, medical support staff, rehabilitation workers, general practitioners, retirement village or rest home staff or tertiary students studying to be part of the health sector need to be aware of blindness and how to assist a blind, partially sighted or deafblind person. We are eager to work with you to improve outcomes for New Zealanders affected by low vision.
