Leave a lasting gift
Many donors have supported the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind for years. We have become family. And it makes sense that after providing for your loved ones you might also make a bequest so that the Foundation can continue to serve blind, deafblind and vision-impaired New Zealanders.
Your consideration now by including us in your will makes all the difference. We can make provision to use your gift in special ways if you wish, or simply allow us the freedom to place the gift where it will do the most good.
The wording for a simple designation in favour of the RNZFB is:
"I give and bequeth to the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind, a body corporate under the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002, for General Purposes/Guide Dog Services/Library Services etc... of the Foundation the sum of $... (or the residue of my estate) and I declare that the receipt of the Chief Financial Officer or other proper officer of the Foundation shall be sufficient discharge for my Trustee."
