How to donate

Unlike other children, Brianna can only imagine how everything appears in her world as she has been blind since birth.

Despite this, Brianna embraces the world around her and never lets her disability hold her back.

The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) has been by Brianna’s side since she was a baby and will continue to support her every step of the way, but we can’t do it without you.

That is why your donation is so vitally importantClick here to donate now.

Brianna requires many RNZFB services, including access to our tactile and talking book library along with specialised training to get around safely, which has done wonders to boost her confidence.

As Brianna’s mum Anne says, “Before she started receiving RNZFB services, Brianna was a little girl in a bubble, but now, she is so much more independent and confident.”

Brianna hopes to one day become a teacher and share her love of music and stories with her class.

Brianna is such a special little girl, with so much ahead of her. But she relies on your generosity to turn her dreams into reality. Any donation you can give for Blind Week will help to ensure that Brianna and thousands of blind and partially sighted New Zealanders continue to receive the vital support and services they need to excel.

If you can imagine how much your help means to a little girl like Brianna, then please, give as much as you can this year for Blind Week. Click here to donate now.
