Blind Week is the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind’s best opportunity to advocate the blindness and sight loss cause, and raise funds for the essential services we provide our 11,500 members.

This year we celebrated Blind Week from 26th October to 1st November in conjunction with our 120th anniversary of being the main provider of sight loss services in New Zealand!

Blind Week not only celebrates the blindness and sight loss cause, it also raises much needed donations to support the full range of vital services we provide.

This year's Blind Week Appeal 2010 would not have been possible without the incredible support of our family of volunteers who gave up their time to collect or hold events to raise money to help the RNZFB provide life-changing services to our members.

So far we have raised over $650,000 and still counting!
