Key elements of the portfolio
Production services for our internal customers
Provide a Production service for internal published documents
establishing high standards of production. eg Library
transcription, AFP Publishing production of internal documents.
Oversee AFP contracts and AFP Standards
Accessibility focus
To improve our clients' information and e-accessibility experience
and the external accessibility environment. The ED will explore
alternative technology around - library distribution services, Adaptive
Technology member training and helpdesk, Telephone Information Service,
scripting, communication & technology (ICT) adult rehabilitation,
equipment assessment. The ED will help the Foundation to be a
standard setter in audio description, further digital development and
DTB implementation, and look at future RNZFB radio, Internet &
global linkages .
Innovation & New Business Enterprise for External customers
with full cost recovery
This focus will generate and promote innovation information and product solutions to issues that will improve our clients experience and the external accessibility environment. E.g. ideas development and product development, Rapid Turnaround Services, Consultancy Services (eg Web design, Building environment), audio description
Organisational System Support
Provide integrated IT support that is aligned to Adaptive Technology
and new digital solutions which enhance e- solutions and accessible
information. E.g. Client systems, IT systems, HRIS, Intranet, Internet,
global linkages and Staff IT literacy.
The complexity of this new service model will require leadership in
e-technology and accessible information services and expertise in
integrating services focused on a new direction.
