1.0 Name

1.1 In terms of Section 8 of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002, the name of the Foundation is the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind.
1.2 If:
1.2.1 the Foundation decides pursuant to Section 15 of the said Act to apply for registration as an incorporated society; and
1.2.2 pursuant to Section 17 of the said Act, the Society is registered as an incorporated society under Section 8 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908, then on and after such registration the name of the society shall, without any further resolution of the Members, become and be "The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Incorporated" and Rule 13.3 (which relates to alterations of this Constitution) shall not apply in relation to such change of name.
1.3 The Foundation (whether for the time being constituted under Section 8 of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002 or under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908) is referred to in this Constitution as "the Foundation".
