RNZFB Act 2002
The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind Act 2002 was a key turning point in our governance. The Board is now elected by RNZFB members and not Parliament.
The name change from ‘Royal New Zealand Foundation for the Blind’ to ‘Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind’ indicates this important change.
The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) Act 2002 came into force in December 2002. It outlines the constitution and governance of the RNZFB and requires we adhere to the RNZFB Constitution.
