RNZFB to facilitate discussion on Designing for All

28 June 2011

The web is seen as a great enabler – the place where we can all go to find information, to work, socialise, play and trade. But it’s not as open as many would think.

RNZFB Adaptive Technology Services Manager, Kevin Prince, is set to bring this conversation to the fore by facilitating a discussion on ‘Designing for All’ at NetHui 2011, a three-day event covering a range of current issues in the online sphere.

The Designing for All discussion will tackle a number of pertinent issues, including: What if you can’t see the screen or hear the audio? What if you either don’t speak English or are more comfortable with your native tongue? Are there cultural issues with the web? Do we all process and access information in the same way?

NetHui is running from 29 June – 1 July and features a number of esteemed keynote speakers and panellists.
