Lex wins highest award in deafblind field

Lex Grandia, President of the World Federation of the Deafblind (WFDB), recently received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

He is the first person with deafblindness ever to receive this award and the forth person to receive it worldwide.

On 12 October it will 10 years since deafblind national delegates voted on the constitution here in New Zealand, and thereby estabilshed the new World Federation of the Deafblind.
