Join us for a special screening of Red Dog
If you’re in the mood for a light-hearted, inspirational film, then why not join the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) for a special screening of Red Dog at Bridgeway Theatre, Northcote Point, in Auckland.
This is a fundraising event, with proceeds going to support our essential sight-loss services. One of the services we provide is breeding and training puppies to become RNZFB guide dogs. These puppies are often known as ‘red puppies’ because of the red coats they wear during their training years. You may even see a few of those red coats in the audience!
Red Dog is a family-friendly movie, based on the legendary true story of the red dog that united a disparate local community while roaming the Australian outback in search of his long lost master. Starring Josh Lucas, Rachael Taylor and Noah Taylor, and directed by Kriv Stenders.
