Governor General visit

The Governor General and our new Patron, Sir Jerry Mateparae, visited the RNZFB's Christchurch office on Tuesday.
His Excellency met our Chief Executive, Sandra Budd, Executive Director Direct Client Contact Services, Teresa Bradfield, and our Christchurch staff. He had the opportunity to play with some guide dog puppies and learn a bit about adaptive technology.
Sir Jerry Mateparae also visited Deaf Aotearoa and Relationship Services, who share the same building, and commented that we are a great example of a community pulling together.
We look forward to working further with Sir Jerry Mateparae as our Patron.
