Library
We have two libraries that cater for our members across the country. The Parnell Library provides library services for adult members and the Homai Special Formats Library caters for children and young adult members.
Parnell Library
The Parnell Library, which is located at our main site in Auckland, provides library services to our members and clients from all over New Zealand. The Library offers a variety of audio books, braille books, audio magazines and electronic texts (e-texts) to adult members around the country.
We have approximately 6,500 DAISY audio books and 4,500 braille titles. We also provide access to information in a variety of accessible formats and members also have access to approximately 20 audio magazines. Members can also make requests for personal material to be turned into accessible formats by contacting the Library.
To learn more about how the Library provides services to members, see the member's Library page. To arrange a tour, call 0800 24 33 33 and choose option 2 or email library@rnzfb.org.nz

Homai Special Formats Library
The Homai Special Formats Library, which is located at the Blind and Low Vision Education Network of New Zealand (BLENNZ) campus in Auckland, provides library services for children and young people. Borrowers use the Library to get material that supports the school curriculum or just to enjoy some leisure reading.
The team is available to answer questions, provide advice and assist with requests for material in accessible formats that may not be available in the Library.
