Information and advice

We provide a free information and advice service to our members and the general public.

There is a dedicated team available to answer any questions that New Zealanders have about blindness, the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind and all our services. This team is often the first point of contact for people recently diagnosed as being blind or partially sighted, as well as their families.

The information and advice team receives over 5,000 queries by phone and email per year.

The service is available 8.30am to 5pm every week day. Queries that may be received outside of these hours are answered promptly.

If you would like to get in touch, phone 0800 24 33 33 option 1 or email general@rnzfb.org.nz
