We offer a range of vision related products through our online equipment shop.
We also hold equipment display days which are open to our members and the public. The days provide an opportunity to learn about different items, try some of them and place orders. Staff are on hand to demonstrate items, answer questions and advise on prices.
Our prices vary depending on whether customers are members or non members. Products are offered at a subsidised price for our members. The items can currently be purchased by either posting in a cheque or entering credit card details online.
Many of the specialised products and aids such as magnifiers and canes have to be prescribed for individual members based on personal vision and mobility needs.
We provide an assessment service to ensure the correct item is prescribed to meet individual members' safety and effectiveness requirements. Members are recommended not to purchase magnifiers and first-issue canes without being assessed beforehand. Assessments can also be made with an optometrist or at a low vision clinic.
