Employment
Our employment assistance supports employees, employers and job seekers.
We assist:
- students make appropriate study and employment choices
- members who want to enter the workforce or keep or adapt a job following sight loss
- members find meaningful employment
- develop CVs, identify training needs and liaise with relevant agencies
- making funding applications for employment or study related supports, such as equipment
- ensure both employee and employer receive appropriate training
We also offer services to employers to help break down barriers enabling our members to participate in the workforce.
Our team covers the whole of New Zealand, with employment consultants based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
