This year's annual Red Puppy Appeal scampers away from Friday 26 - Sunday 28 March. We're aiming to raise $1.1 million to support the amazing work of our Guide Dog Services. Guide dogs mean freedom, independence, confidence and companionship for around 240 blind and partially sighted Kiwis.
Visit the Red Puppy Appeal website and find out how you can support the appeal.

Helping Foundation members into jobs

The RNZFB’s Employment Services team is committed to helping Foundation members into the workforce. There are already blind, deafblind and partially sighted people working in more than 80 different job sectors, and the possibilities are endless. Find out about how we can help you with your career or read our Working it out brochure – an introduction to the RNZFB Employment Service.

Accessible information for all

Did you know that only 5% of printed material is available in formats that blind people can read? Blind, deafblind and partially sighted people need access to the same information as everyone else, whether it’s novels, restaurant menus, musical scores or appliance manuals. Find about our Accessible Format Production team, read about braille, talking books and check out our Telephone Information Service.
